Abstract
PAH associated eisemnenger syndrome is a congenital heart disease with bidirectional or reversed shunt. The maternal mortality in this syndrome is very high 30-50%. We present a case series of 3 patients with eisemnenger syndrome with successful materno-faetal outcome of patients under general anaesthesia for category 1 LSCS. The focus of anesthetic management was to preserve SVR (systemic vascular resistance) to PVR (pulmonary vascular resistance) ratio.
Keywords: General anaesthesia, Eisemnenger syndrome, Pulmonary arterial hypertension systemic, Vascular resistance and etomidate.
